West Side Family Place (WSFP) is a welcoming, community-based family resource centre located in Vancouver’s west side. Since 1973, WSFP has provided a safe, inclusive space where parents, caregivers, and young children (birth to age five) can connect, learn, and grow together.

At WSFP, we believe that raising children takes a village. Our programs are designed to reduce isolation, build confidence, and support healthy child development through play-based learning, parent education, and one-on-one family support. From daily drop-in play programs and parenting workshops to specialized supports and community events, we create meaningful opportunities for families to build relationships and access the resources they need.

Our experienced staff and dedicated volunteers reflect the diversity of our community and are committed to providing compassionate, non-judgmental support. We strive to ensure that all families regardless of background or circumstance, feel welcomed, respected, and included.
